Hello, world

Every time I learn something interesting at work — a subtle behavior in Kafka’s replication protocol, a counter-intuitive distributed-systems result, a clean refactor pattern — I make a mental note to “write that up sometime.” Then I never do, and a year later I can’t remember the punchline.

So this is the place. Short notes, no schedule, no theme beyond “things I think are worth remembering.” If any of it is useful to you too, even better.

What you’ll find here

  • Blog — engineering notes. Distributed systems, data infrastructure, debugging stories, occasional opinions.
  • Travel — a journal of places I’ve been. Mostly for me.
  • About — who’s behind this.

What you won’t find here

A schedule. A newsletter. Ads. A unified theme. This is a “fun space,” and keeping it that way is the whole point.
